Prompt Vault is local-only.
The extension stores prompts, folders, tags, settings, and variable-fill history in Chrome storage on your device. It does not create an account, send data to a server, use analytics, sell data, or share data with third parties.
The extension runs only on `chatgpt.com`, `claude.ai`, and `gemini.google.com` so it can show the prompt palette and insert text into the active chat input. It does not auto-submit prompts.
The `{{clipboard}}` variable reads clipboard text only when a prompt containing that variable is inserted. If clipboard access fails, the extension asks you to fill that field manually.
The context-menu action saves only the text you intentionally select and choose to save.
Exports are generated locally as JSON or Markdown files. Imports are read locally from files you choose.

`{{clipboard}}` 변수는 해당 변수가 포함된 프롬프트를 삽입할 때만 클립보드 텍스트를 읽습니다. 클립보드 접근이 실패하면 사용자가 해당 필드를 직접 입력하도록 안내합니다.
컨텍스트 메뉴 저장 기능은 사용자가 직접 선택하고 저장하기로 한 텍스트만 저장합니다.
내보내기는 JSON 또는 Markdown 파일로 로컬에서 생성됩니다. 가져오기는 사용자가 선택한 파일만 로컬에서 읽습니다.
